Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Someday Is Today

SUBARU  Loves to Care

June is Subaru Loves to Care month at Subaru dealerships, nationwide.
We believe that everyone deserves to lead a happy and healthy life rich with experiences. That's why we're committed to helping those in our communities stay as healthy as possible.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is working to someday cure blood cancers, and through their research, they are hoping to make some day, today.

LLS, Subaru and Subaru retailers, like us, are spreading hope, love and warmth through small gestures of hope.  Together with LLS and other participating retailers, we are donating over 40,000 blankets and as many messages of hope cards as we can collect, written by Subaru customers, which will be delivered to those fighting cancer in our local community.

Subaru Loves to Care

Muscatell Subaru, where Hope meets Courage!

Subaru reps had the honor of meeting patients, Haddie & Jack, at Sanford Roger Maris Center & Essentia Health Care.
Heroes come in many sizes, colors & ages. Rock on!

Customers who visited Muscatell Subaru the month of June helped spread the love with messages of hope to cancer patients.

During the month of June, Muscatell staff encouraged customers to take a moment to write a small note of encouragement to a cancer patient. In return they could receive a reusable tote bag. The goal is to provide a little hope & care to patients, one gesture at a time.

Over the past 2 years, over 70,000 patients have received the blankets, art kits & notes, in more than 400 hospitals nationwide, from almost 500 Subaru dealerships.

A high point for the Muscatell team was meeting 2-time cancer survivor, Rhoda Vander Root, Essentia Cancer Clinic's ambassador. Rhoda's been a patient at Essentia since 2015 and was a recipient of a note & blanket from Muscatell's in 2016.

As a company, the team at Muscatell's believe it's important to do our part in making a positive impact, simply because it's the right thing to do.

Subaru dealers follow the Subaru Love Promise, which is the company's vision to love & respect everyone & to support our community. As a company, Subaru of America has donated over 120 million dollars over the past 20 years.

It was a fun morning, with the awesome group at Essentia Health Cancer Clinic, and we hope the patients enjoy their gifts!
