During the month of June, Muscatell staff encouraged customers to take a moment to write a small note of encouragement to a cancer patient. In return they could receive a reusable tote bag. The goal is to provide a little hope & care to patients, one gesture at a time.
Over the past 2 years, over 70,000 patients have received the blankets, art kits & notes, in more than 400 hospitals nationwide, from almost 500 Subaru dealerships.
A high point for the Muscatell team was meeting 2-time cancer survivor, Rhoda Vander Root, Essentia Cancer Clinic's ambassador. Rhoda's been a patient at Essentia since 2015 and was a recipient of a note & blanket from Muscatell's in 2016. Â
As a company, the team at Muscatell's believe it's important to do our part in making a positive impact, simply because it's the right thing to do. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Subaru dealers follow the Subaru Love Promise, which is the company's vision to love & respect everyone & to support our community. As a company, Subaru of America has donated over 120 million dollars over the past 20 years.
It was a fun morning, with the awesome group at Essentia Health Cancer Clinic, and we hope the patients enjoy their gifts!

The team at
Muscatell Subaru joined the LLS group at Essentia to gift warm blankets and 112
messages of hope, written by our customers & staff members to patients.
They, also, dropped off art & crafts kits for children battling disease or
accompanying a loved one receiving treatment.
